Matthew I. Botkin, Founder and President of Building Financial Solutions, Inc. is the co-author of the best selling book “Achieve Financial Freedom - Big Time.” Matthew is a financial advisor and planner located in South Florida.

As a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner)TM, CPA/PFS (Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist), Attorney and Investment Advisory Representative affiliated with Avantax Investment ServicesSM, Matthew provides customized financial services with investment, retirement, tax and estate planning strategies. Matthew is a leader in education and assists his clients in understanding technical terms to help make financial decisions.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University (Baltimore, MD). He graduated, first-in-class, with a Master of Science in Financial Planning from Bentley University (Boston, MA), and graduated cum laude, with a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center (Fort Lauderdale, FL). He also graduated, cum laude, with an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law (Coral Gables, FL).

Matt performs client services in Investment, Retirement Planning, Insurance, Estate Planning, Tax and more and has had extensive training on meeting client’s goals and objectives. His needs based approach assists clients in reaching their objectives by listening closely, customizing and implementing tax and financial strategies, and building intergenerational relationships.
